Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden

Beldon PS has proudly been one of only four government primary schools in the northern suburbs of Perth to deliver the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden (SAKG) program to students since 2012. A unique component of our curriculum, the program teaches children healthy habits for life and how to grow fresh seasonal produce in our SAKG Garden.

Students are taught the skills necessary to plant, maintain and harvest fruit and vegetables from our garden, as well as having the responsibility of caring for our brood of chickens.
