Beldon Speaks

All children from Years 1 to 6 will have the opportunity to participate in our fabulous public speaking competition. As this is part of our Oral Language program, all children are required to complete the task and, in consultation with teachers, may choose to present to the class only.

The teachers guide the children through strategies for preparing and presenting talks. The children will need to prepare and practice their speech at home.

Children then present their speech to the class, with finalists chosen to compete within the year level finals. Speeches are presented by the winners at our Beldon Speaks Assembly.
