Enrolment
Enrolment at Beldon PS is primarily for students residing within the school’s designated catchment area. Applications from families living outside this boundary will be considered at the discretion of the Principal following the Department of Education WA’s Enrolment in Public Schools Procedures. Applications close on Friday, 24 July 2026.
KINDERGARTEN ENROLMENTS FOR 2027
If your child turns 4 years of age on or before 30 June 2027, they are eligible to attend Kindergarten in 2027.
Applicants will be notified and invited to attend our Kindy Fling in Term 3. This special morning provides an opportunity for children and their families to become familiar with the Kindergarten environment and meet some of our staff before the school year begins.
The Kindy Fling is designed to help us get to know each child and their individual needs, ensuring a positive and successful transition to Kindergarten at Beldon Primary School.
Staff and specialists involved in the Kindy Fling may include:
- Principal
- Deputy Principal
- Kindergarten Teacher
- Education Assistants
- Community and School Health Nurse
- Representatives from PAEDS Plus
- Speech Pathologists
- Occupational Therapists
Applications received after the closing date will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to the availability of Kindergarten places.

PRE-PRIMARY ENROLMENTS FOR 2027
If your child turns 5 before 30 June 2027 they are required to attend Pre-primary in 2027.
Pre-Primary is the start of the compulsory learning journey for students. Once accepted into Pre-Primary, students remain enrolled until the end of year Six. Please note, all 2026 Kindergarten students must re-enrol for 2027 Pre-primary.
ENROLMENT PROCESS
To apply to enrol your child at Beldon Primary School please download and complete the Application for Enrolment Form.
Once completed, please bring the Application for Enrolment Form and the following documents to the school office:
- Original Birth Certificate
- Current proof of address (e.g. a utilities bill or current lease agreement)
- Passport or visa/proof of citizenship (if applicable)
You do not need an AIR Immunisation History Statement with this application as we require an up-to-date record (not more than 2 months old) when you receive a letter of acceptance.
Once applications have been assessed, further correspondence and an enrolment package will be made available.

USEFUL DOCUMENTS & INFORMATION
Western Australia has Immunisation laws that will help protect our children and the community from vaccine-preventable diseases. It is a requirement for all Kindergarten enrolments, that an Immunisation History Statement is provided, showing your child is up to date. The Statement must be no more than two months old. Please see the map below to determine whether your family falls into our catchment area. Whilst we do accept out of area enrolments, this is done at the discretion of the Principal and an Application for Enrolment form would need to be completed and returned to initiate this process.
